Optimus Central Receive microwave systems are incredibly durable and dependable – just what you demand of products that spend their lifetimes in harsh conditions and inaccessible locations (like 1000 feet up a tower).

The Optimus Central Receive – Clamshell antenna features a sturdy two-piece fiberglass radome and a smaller base plate than our Classic product.  In addition, all wiring and connectors pass through the bottom portion of the radome, allowing for simpler installation and maintenance.

Configurations include these and other options:

• Continuous rotation panning (for quick target acquisition or auto-tracking of moving ground vehicles or aircraft)
• Economical standard rotation panning
• Antenna tilt (± 20°) to maximize signal strength
• Automatic heater
• Environmentally-sealed radome

All Optimus Central Receive units feature AzEP’s high performance, truncated offset feed microwave antennas and aircraft grade aluminum bases, guaranteeing years of trouble-free service.

AzEP offers three Optimus Central Receive antenna versions to match any application: 

• Quad Polarized, switchable at 5-24 volts DC
• Dual Polarized, switchable at 5-24 volts DC
• Dual Polarized, fixed
