SureShot II – Vector Precision Uplink Controller

Ask any operator:  establishing an uplink from a truck is much more an art than a science.

We happen to agree.  Locating the right satellite 22,236 miles up in space is both a challenge and serious business.

But the artist charged with quickly and accurately establishing an uplink is only as good as his equipment.  The most precise tool available for orienting an uplink antenna every time is SureShot II – Vector Precision Uplink Controller.

This SureShot II controller, a GPS-based system, is the MOST ACCURATE automatic antenna positioning controller made. 

SureShot II – Vector Precision Uplink Controller relies on both the antenna’s own position detection hardware (whether potentiometers or indexing system) and AzEP’s very sensitive and highly accurate (±.3°, vertically and horizontally) sensors to continuously determine antenna azimuth and elevation. 

Coordinates of all satellites viewable in its operating hemisphere are stored in SureShot II's long-term, password-protected memory.  Recalling a satellite is a simple two-key operation. 

Once the operator selects a satellite, SureShot II – Vector Precision Uplink Controller computes the precise azimuth and elevation to that location in space.  SureShot II then positions the uplink antenna, either by directly powering, or simply controlling the existing current to, the antenna mount motors.
